Finally some photos

Here are the promised photos, wish I could find out how to order and place them properly in the post

Update

Pictures have been taken of the army but the images are far too dark so I will have to wait until tonight to post them after I have brightened them up.

The Pennine Pillage tournament was great for yet another year with good food and a disappointing result for me, second place but as this is the third time I have come second at this tournament and I was really going for a win.

The models I used for the tournament are not quite finished so my plan for the end of the month is to get them to a gaming table quality finish, more work will be added in time.

I have high hopes for this blog, so far the encouragement to paint was from the tournament, now it will be from the blog, I hope to keep up with the quality of my fellow club mates blogs.

Preview

I thought I would post a quick preview of my army for those interested.

Crappy phone camera is crappy but the models aren't done yet so doesn't matter too much, I will take better photos when they are finished.

The Plan

This is going to be my blog that follows the progress of my WFB Orcs and Goblins army.

My army started with an idea, the idea was that orcs climbing over each other would look cool.

Modelling this proved to be hard however and I was very slow at getting many models on there bases and since I decided to go for a pavement style basing system my opponents were left facing an army of empty pavement.

This is what I plan on fixing with this blog.

I have already started with a small 1200 point army for an upcoming tournament next week and I will post pictures as soon as they have been completed.

Several other people in my gaming club are also creating painting blogs for a tale of 4 gamers style project and I will be linking to these in the sidebar eventually.
